Diagnosis
Find the real cause.
A platform change brought more functionality, but customers struggled to navigate it and adoption deteriorated. We reviewed the journey from concept to rollout and identified the gap between internal technical priorities and user needs. The diagnosis established where usability, customer engagement and change support needed attention.
Processes
Make the flow work.
High enquiry volumes were overwhelming commercial teams, while relevant opportunities were being missed. We reviewed the flow from marketing activity to sales follow-up and redesigned qualification criteria, routing and ownership. Criteria were informed by previous successful sales, giving teams a more practical way to distinguish relevant enquiries from noise.
Systems
Make action visible.
Commercial leaders lacked a clear view of enquiry handling and overdue follow-up. We introduced CRM reporting, dashboards and time-breach notifications to show where action was needed. We connected visibility to the working process, making it easier for teams to identify neglected enquiries and for leadership to monitor responsibility and progress.
Teams
Build delivery capacity.
An enterprise sales team needed support to reach decision-makers and develop opportunities. We designed a feeder function around its commercial objectives, defining roles, workflows, market approach and incentives. We coordinated recruitment partners, led hiring of the functional leader and team, and developed training to establish the new capability.
Adoption
Help people make the change.
Customers struggled after a platform transition, despite the product’s stronger functionality. We coordinated a response combining clear capability communications, in-person training, recurring quick-start guides and retention activity. The work addressed how customers understood and used the platform, rather than assuming that additional features would secure adoption.
Governance
Connect information responsibly.
Research, marketing and commercial teams needed to collaborate across a distributed operation. We reviewed the information flows, technology platforms, access arrangements and team capabilities. We designed controlled sharing and aligned responsibilities, working practices and training so teams could use information for commercial activity within the data-protection framework.
Outcome of the wider market-development rebuild. The programme redesigned research, marketing and commercial operations. Following a year building the teams and processes, its first full operating year delivered:
Pipeline: $7.5m → $72m.
Closed-won revenue: $1.8m → $29m.
Compared with the pre-transformation baseline.
